I just love Mindfulness movement – Qigong I think it’s my favourite practice I get so much out of it even more so than the Tai chi. It really works for me.
MINDFULNESS
The energy is felt by all even in the first session for most people that I teach, I focus a lot on the Mindfulness movement – Qigong aspect in my teaching and feel that this has contributed greatly to my skill as a healer especially because my hands have become so sensitive, the Qi or chi energy is very real and after some time you will get to feel that even the air around you has substance to it.
CHI KUNG
I use visualization to help my students to feel and connect to the energy it is important that we make the invisible visible even if we only see it in our minds eye. Qigong masters have known the importance of this art for centuries, We take the energy from around us the plants, trees, sun, moon, stars, planets and draw it into the body during our practice it can make the whole body feel like its breathing after a little bit of time and can be done 3, 5 or 9 times for health benefits or more if you really want to build up your Qi energy 18, 24, 36 or 108 times.
TAI CHI
I combine a few different traditions of Qigong, such as Condensing breathing, Primordial Qigong and many others to help you to gain optimum benefits. The elderly I teach find that Qigong helps them to function better and they are less likely to have illness, many have had deep seated illness or blocks in their energy removed and can feel the a warm glow in their feet and hands. Many find it deeply relaxing, it can combat stress and is like a deep meditation. I can easily get lost in my Qigong practice sometimes just feeling the sensations for hours.
QI
The breathing is linked to the breath and so our movements slow they should mirror the breath so they become linked, as the arms move up we inhale same time, as the arms come down we exhale same time.
HEALING
The standing tree practices you will be able to release huge amounts of tension in the shoulders and neck areas just by concentrating on the breath and feeling the heavy energy sinking downwards and out of your body, you don’t have to do much just let go and relax and that is where the challenge is for most.

MINDFULNESS

Mindfulness Movement  Qigong
MEDITATION
In Qigong the aim is to keep the body relaxed throughout this allows the meridians to open and for the natural flow of energy to flow through your body.
Qigong also strengthens the Qi energy that flows through each part of us and is integral to our survival.
MASTER
Energy is all around us and for over 7000 years Qigong has helped many people to overcome a variety of health problems and most Qigong practitioners are exceptional healers.
Qi is channelled through the healer into the person receiving healing and is another form of Natural healing..
TEACHING
Qigong is a deep study into moving energy around your body and it has its roots in 5 element theory and Meridian theory the basis of Traditional Chinese Medicine or TCM.
TAI
There are many different disciplines of Qigong from Internal to External, Taoist, Buddhist and Shaolin. To name a few the more popular such as BA DUAN JIN, YI JIN JING and 5 animal Qigong have many different interpretations and  variations.
One of my favourites is PRIMORDIAL QIGONG a set by the late great Grandmaster Feng Zhiqiang.
CHI

QI
Other styles of Qigong include: Fire Dragon Meridian Qigong, Medical Qigong, Dao Yin Yang Sheng Gong Shi Er Fa, Shamanic Cosmic Orbit Qigong, Dragon Gate Qigong, Zhang Zhuang, Swimming Dragon Qigong,  Dao-in, The Yi Jing Medical Qigong System, Dragon Dao yin exercises and Daoist Nei Gong one of the highest expressions of Qigong available today…
SPIRITUAL
Cultivation of Spirit and Body are equally important if you are younger then you can begin to cultivate the spirit and then the physical but if you are older then you need to cultivate the physical it is very important to first strengthen one’s health. If the body is weak, Jing (essence of the body) and qi (life activating force) are deficient, then we use movement to purify Jing which has the added bonus of training to discipline the mind and repair physical damage.
CHI KUNG
Generally as we get older the Jing and Qi deplete faster and faster.
MASTER
We need an abundance of Jing to attain good health and longevity.. In Daoist thought Jing lives in your Kidneys so any activity that depletes your Jing HARMS your life force and LONGEVITY.
TAI CHI
Qi is like a root and Jing the trunk of a tree,
MINDFULNESS
If the root is not deep it can be plucked out with ease,
MOVEMENT
If the trunk is not strong then the tree will fall,
QIGONG
When one can firmly store qi and guard one’s Jing then you can attain a long life.
